Configuration without the 'con'
XBox Live! now recognised - just need to test it "in action" but it seems ok as far as the ultra-geeky stupidly-hidden diagnostics go.
eMail configured AND the ISP's webmail service tested too.
It seems, ladies and gentlemen visitors to The Towers, that I'm jolly well back in action.
I'm off to treat myself to some Green Tea candy........

Sounds a lot easier than BT!
I'm being upgraded from 0.5MB to 2MB on Wednesday and I'm not looking forward to the palaver which will undoubtedly accompany it! (may experience some downtime!)
As I say, mine was no more than 15mins in total - cable guy laying the cable, installing the modem and then me re-configuring my email.
Of course, being geek-boy, it also featured me tweaking and speedtesting the modem etc and eeking an extra couple of % out of it..... ;o)
